Gerardo Nieto is back with DAV Racing in Portugal

Mexico´s driver, after taking part in the series with DAV Racing last year playing an important role in the Cup, will drive a Dallara F312 this time.

Round two of the Euroformula Open to be held at the Autódromo do Algarve next week, will mark Gerardo Nieto´s return to the series. Aged 20, Nieto already participated in the Euroformula Open last season and at the wheel of a car entered by the same team: DAV Racing. As a novelty, Nieto shall drive a Dallara F312 unlike last season when he drove a F308.

7th in the Copa drivers´ championship, he obtained his personal best at Spa-Francorchamps, winning race two.
